Treatments available at Kemper Spine Centre
The latest technology is used by Dr. Kemper to evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients in an effort to relieve their chronic pain or injury.
The goals of treatment are the same for most patients, regardless of the prescribed treatments: to alleviate chronic pain with improved alignment, flexibility, and strength.
Evaluation
An initial evaluation determining the source of pain is conducted by Dr. Kemper prior to prescribing treatment. Patients are asked to complete some forms, including History, Symptom and Pain Profile questionnaires. The Doctor will then review them and begin his clinical assessment; it may include any or all of the following:
• Physical examination
• Orthopedic and neurological testing
• Diagnostic x-rays
Diagnosis
A diagnosis is reached based on the information from the evaluation and Dr. Kemper’s assessment of the patient’s condition and needs.
